Registration Instructions
Registration takes place on the Einstein PTSA website only. Classes are filled on a first-come, first served basis, and payment must be received for registration to be confirmed. There will be a waitlist for each class once it is filled. 

Policies and Procedures
Please be sure to read through all of our Student Activities Policies and Procedures before registering your child.

REFUND POLICY
Refunds are based on when the cancellation is received. Cancellations received:
    •    2 days or less after last day of registration will receive a full refund.
    •    3 days or more after last day of registration, refunds are done at the discretion of the vendor at the vendors rate.
    •    There are no refunds for missed classes. 


Chaperones

Our PTSA insurance policy states that in order to run our programs, at least one PTSA member, who is approved by the school district to volunteer, must be present in each class.

Permanent Chaperons: This is a great opportunity to be with your child for the whole semester and receive a discount or even free tuition for the class.

Parents or guardians are asked to fulfill this requirement for a minimum of one class day per session per child. Please note that each parent may be required to chaperone more than one class, depending on enrollment. At the end of the registration process, "SignUp Genius" links will be provided to schedule chaperones for each class. Chaperones must:

- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be or become an Einstein PTSA member for the current school year.
- Be or become LWSD background-check approved (Links open in new window) 

FREE TUITION OPTIONS:  

A parent who is able to chaperone for all weeks of an activity (permanent chaperone) will receive FREE tuition for one child. (Some restrictions may apply.) You must contact studentactivities@einsteinptsa.org to apply.

Parents who are able to share chaperone duties with one other permanent chaperone for all weeks of an activity, both of them will qualify for 50% DISCOUNTED tuition for one child (some restrictions may apply.) You must contact studentactivities@einsteinptsa.org to apply.

Please note: Preference will be given to permanent chaperones. Tuition reductions will be reimbursed at the end of the Student Activities session, upon successful completion of chaperone duties.

Class Descriptions

Speed, Agility and Running

Get ready to move, jump, and have a blast! Total Control Soccer is excited to offer Speed & Agility, after school class designed for Kindergarten through 5th graders. During this class no soccer ball is needed-our focus is on building speed, coordination, and overall athleticism through engaging drills and interactive games!
 
Each session includes:
 
-Plyometric exercises like jumping, bounding, and hopping to build strength and explosiveness.
-Agility Drills: Using cones and ladders to improve quickness and coordination
-Games and challenges that reinforce movement skills in a fun and competitive way.
 
This class is perfect for young athletes looking to enhance their physical abilities as well as kids who just want to stay active and have fun. No experience needed-just bring energy and enthusiasm!

With a focus on skill development, character building, and a passion for the game, we aim to inspire the next generation of soccer stars while promoting values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Lego Robotics

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey into the world of robotics at our upcoming session! Using fun and familiar LEGO-type kits, young innovators will design and build their robotic bikes. Learn the basics of construction and then delve into the fascinating world of sensors by incorporating LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensors to control your bike's actions. Whether you're a returning robotics enthusiast or brand new to the world of building, our welcoming curriculum ensures a fantastic and engaging learning experience for everyone. Come explore, create, and discover the amazing possibilities of robotics!

Prepare to take your engineering skills to the next level! This time, Student will be working with metal construction kits to build your very own functional pedestal fan. Not only will you learn about mechanical assembly, but you'll also get hands-on experience introducing sensors to control its operation. Discover how to regulate the fan speed with each press of a button and even explore the exciting possibilities of using a sound sensor to control it. Whether you're a seasoned builder or just starting your robotics adventure, our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire all students. Join us to design, build, and innovate with the power of robotics!

Spring 2025
This season, young artists will explore new techniques, experiment with textures, and bring their ideas to life! From oil pastel resist and watercolor layering to 3D pop-up designs and pattern storytelling, each project is a hands-on journey into the world of art. Through painting, sculpting, and mixed media, kids will build skills, spark imagination, and make joyful, messy masterpieces!

Participants will learn strategies and practice game play with similar leveled peers. Students may be working in groups with classmates. Instructor Tim requests that all students know piece movement prior to joining the class.
