Our school Spelling Bee is just around the corner, and we are excited to provide this wonderful opportunity for our students. However, we are currently in need of a volunteer judge. Without one, unfortunately, the Spelling Bee cannot take place, please sign up here if you are able to help:
This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their spelling skills, build confidence, and engage in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Participants have been working hard to prepare, and we are eager to see their dedication and talent on display.
We encourage all students, parents, and staff to attend and support the competitors as they spell their way to victory. Whether you are cheering from the audience or participating in the competition, your presence will make this event even more special.

We are excited to begin planning our first-ever Einstein Science Team, to participate at the Science Olympiad this year. We would love to involve students from 3 - 5 grade who enjoy science and discovery. We are hoping to create at least one team with about 15 students and one Parent coach.
If your child is curious about how things work, enjoys experimenting, problem-solving, or simply loves science, this will be a wonderful opportunity to explore those interests in a fun and supportive way. This event is still in the planning phase, and more details will be shared soon.
Please email: communications@einsteinptsa.org if your kid would like to participate or you'd like to receive more information. If you already sent an email, you'll receive more details very soon.

Fun Run Committee 2026
Help Put the Fun in Fun Run!
We've set the date for this year's Fun Run on May 15th, 2026. The students have an incredible time running around the school and competing to get the most class laps (and claim an ice cream party!). In past years, we have been able to raise more than $26,000 to help fund PTSA sponsored activities like the Art Docent program, Science Expo, Family Events like Multicultural Night, and much more.
We are looking for chairs for the following areas. Some involve planning before the event and some are more specific to the day of the Fun Run. We currently anticipate the Fun Run to occur from approximately 12:30 - 3:00pm on Fri, May 15th.
Please remember that you need to be an approved volunteer by LWSD.

Upcoming Author Visits in Early March!
We’re excited to share details about two upcoming author visits taking place at the beginning of March!
Author Visit Schedule:
Kevan Atteberry will visit with grades K–1 on March 2.
Emma Bland Smith will visit with grades 2–5 on March 4.
We are partnering with Brick & Mortar Books to help families order books for these visits. Both authors will have time during their visit to sign pre-ordered books. Ordering portals are now live:
The Lake Washington School District community have voted and approved Levy Renewals: Proposition 1 and 3. The two levies provide funding to maintain staff, programs and services so all students have the skills they need for their next step, whether that’s a two- or four-year college, a technical certification, or joining the work force.
Thank you to all those who waved signs, knocked doors, and advocated for our students!
